Main activities:
A. Research and development activities
Within the National Plan for research, development and innovation, for the achievement of the sectorial plans and the nucleus programs, within the international research, development and innovation programs, with the following topics:
a) the labor market: labor resources; demand for workforce; unemployment; labor market forecasts; labor market information system; salary, minimum wage and labor market equilibrium; labor market institutions and agents; social dialogue; labor legislation;
b) lifelong education: assessment of the impact of the education, training and professional development systems on the labor market efficiency; assessment of techniques and methods for professional training and development; assessment of training demands at national, sectorial, branch level according to the labor market requirements;
c) human resources management: diagnostic analysis regarding the recruitment, selection, assessment, promotion systems; salary policies and systems at company level: analysis, impact study of the economic and social development; work relations: conflictual- nonconflictual relations, partnership, communication-information – diagnostic analysis, impact; negotiation systems and techniques - comparative analyses, impact; work motivation: forms, methods, co-interest models; work rate setting; d) social policies and social phenomena: the socio-human issues in the process of Romania’s adjustment, modernization and integration in the European structures;
Other scientific research and technological development activities:
a) application- based research through direct contracts with economic agents in the specific field of activity.
B. Associated activities in the research and development activity, carried out in the main field of activity, upon the approval of the coordinating ministry and the state authority for research and development, consisting in:
Specialized consultancy and assistance; technological transfer of research results; professional training and specialization; editing and printing specialized publications; performing services; others.
